Slothking X Microcosm Terrarium Pendant #2
One of my signature glass terrarium pendants that has a hand engraved mandala by Canadian artist, Slothking Glass, on the reverse. It has copper electroformed designs encircling the pendant and framing pendant window.
This has been growing for over a year and is planted with Peperomia prostrata and tropical moss. It recently had some maintenance to clear out some overgrown moss.
Terrarium has a diameter of 54mm.
Requirements to thrive:
* Light- Most important for the continued wellbeing of this living pendant is light. It will need a regular light cycle. It will do best 14-18" under fluorescent or LED lights, turned on when you wake up and off when you go to bed or on a timer, 12 on 12 off. If you opt for using natural light adjustments will need to be made seasonally as to avoid getting direct sun in summer and enough light in Winter.
*Temperature- it is best to keep this between 60 F and 90 F, It can handle short amounts of time a little higher or lower than this but avoid direct sun that can raise the temps rapidly and do not let it freeze.
*Water- This requires very little water when kept corked. 1-3 drops of water may be added with a dropper if pendant appears dry, especially if left uncorked for more than a day. IF KEPT CORKED THESE SHOULD ONLY BE WATERED 1-2 TIMES A YEAR, IF THAT. It is better to err on the side of caution when it comes to watering, the plants can handle being drier better than they can being overwatered.
